Liberian girl kitchen LLC: Reviews & Ratings
I had an amazing experience at this West African restaurant (Liberian girl kitchen LLC) located 109 E pico blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015. The food was absolutely delicious and full of rich, authentic flavors that brought back memories of home-cooked meals. I ordered the fried rice with fish and plantain, and every bite was perfection the rice was well seasoned, the fish was tender and flavorful, and the plantains were perfectly sweet and crispy. The portion size was generous, and the staff was warm and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back soon! and I encouraged every one to try this place! I give it ten over ten.
I’ve only ordered the food from here on uber eats so I am unsure of the service and atmosphere. But the Egusi soup is delicious!!! The fufu is also the right consistency as well. Also, they aren't skimpy with the portions which I appreciate especially when ordering it to be delivered. I’ve ordered Egusi soup from several other restaurants in LA and this is the closest to a home made version. Had it for the 2nd time today and just as bomb as the first time! Sooooo good! It makes me want to try some of the other items on the menu. Note: I ate out of it before the pics lol
I was drawn in by the positive reviews and LGK did not disappoint! This was the best Egusi Stew I've ever had. Texture and flavors are on point. If you like spice, please get it spicy, it's perfect. Portion was good too. I'm excited to try other items on the menu. There is some seating for dine in as well. If you're craving West African food, or you want to try something new, please give them a try!
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing what I can confidently say is the finest West African and Liberian cuisine I’ve ever tasted. The explosion of flavors and spices was nothing short of perfection, creating a delightful harmony. The quality of the food was phenomenal, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for such authentic African food. One of the standout features of this dining experience was the atmosphere while waiting for our meals. The restaurant provided various engaging games, which made the wait not only enjoyable but also added a fun element to the evening. The combination of delicious food, high-quality service, and entertainment truly made for a memorable outing.
I got the dry rice platter. The food here was served hot and everything was so delicious! The red snapper was well seasoned and flavorful and I washed it down with a cold ginger beer. I couldn’t have asked for a better meal and was happy to take half of it home because I could not finish it all. If you need some comfort food, do yourselves a favor and visit LGK! Also, the Afrobeats and dancehall music videos they played created a nice vibe. I will definitely back!
I've seen great reviews of Liberian Girl Kitchen and had to check it out while visiting LA for work! The great reviews were clearly accurate. The cassava leaf and rice tasted amazing and the serving size was much bigger than I expected! Definitely worth checking out for authentic Liberian food
I am not very knowledgeable about West African cuisines, but the staff was very friendly and introduced me. I got the fufu along with some meat dish. It was savory and very good. Although the meat was very spicy. The staff was so kind and served me with a complimentary sweet dish.
